L'Oréal and the French biotech company Microphyt have entered into a strategic partnership. Micorphyt, founded in 2007, developed a low-carbon process to produce microalgae, which are used in cosmetics, among other fields, for their active properties and functional qualities. According to the partners, they want to build a technological platform and bring together material and human resources to produce raw materials from microalgae.
