AGENABON 20.219 is a new corn starch-based ingredient very suitable as natural styling polymer. In hair styling mousse formulations for example it improves curl retention and volume properties. The free-flowing, slightly hygroscopic powder is a HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH that readily dissolves in water. AGENABON 20.219 is COSMOS certified.
Based on the AGENABON 20.219 AGRANA developed an outstanding and 100 % natural hair styling concept. In combination with their AGENANOVA 30.326 and AGENAJEL 20.306 AGRANA was able to create a formulation concept for a styling mousse that exhibits and combine excellent humidity curl retention, stiffness/hold with an elasticity profile that meets or exceeds the typical requirements and properties of conventional benchmark formulations. Also the foam structure and stability is improved by using the Distarch Phosphate RICE PO4 NATURAL.
